It was Amalia from the "La Viña" district who first advised us to go and taste the sea bream "en la plancha", the "tortillitas de camarones" and other Gaditan specialties at El tío de La Tiza, the family "taberna" located behind her house. Originally named "El pájaro" by owners Antonio Saborido and Loli Perales in 1979, this is a family-run taberna.
