It was Amalia from the “La Viña” neighborhood who first recommended that we try the sea bream “en la plancha,” the “tortillitas de camarones,” and other Cadiz specialties at El tío de La Tiza, the family-run “taberna” located behind her house.  Originally, in 1979, its owners, Antonio Saborido and Loli Perales, had named it “El pájaro”
